This documentary reveals the story of the unexpected success of Iranian cinema, from the Shah period (1925), to the present day, through the revolution and the Iran-Iraq war. Crossed fates of cinema and power illustrated by archival footage, extracts from pre- and post-revolutionary films, and interviews with the main protagonists of the Iranian cinema.
